The print advertisement featured is an ad created by the Amsterdam based advertising agency, Wieden+Kennedy, for Coca Cola in 2009. This agency created the famous marketing campaign for the company which was called “Open Happiness.” In this particular advertisement you see the classic Coca Cola bottle with coke splurging out from the top and spelling out “fizzzshh.” The company has many similar ads with different words coming out from the bottles as a way to represent the different sounds of happiness one may hear when they open a bottle of coke. I think this idea is genius and very relatable; however, there could be some minor improvements. One way I would improve this ad would be by adding multiple words coming out of the can in hopes that it could appeal to a wider audience. A sound one might think of when opening a coke could be completely different than someone else’s idea.
